Description
Things were no longer what they once were. The peace had been disrupted in the worst possible way, bringing death and destruction to the land that once could have been the inspiration behind a fairytale. The population had suffered greatly, numbers falling by the thousands daily with no hope of revival. Hope was being ripped from the hands of the people, replaced with a fear that could rival any emotion ever felt in the history of mankind. Fires now stretch across the land, turning anything and everything in their paths into ash, yanking the lives right from under our noses and obliterating all that we hold dear. It's as if hell had been uprooted and the world was living in the very center of it all. The surviving population was useless; locked up in their barely there homes as they declared their loyalty to the new king like voiceless minions. Some of us, though, were thirsty for revenge. A secret society known as the Circle of Thorns had risen from the chaos, reborn with a fury raging within their veins. It's time to take back what is ours, and we won't give up until "King" Asmar's head is presented on a spike. x x x x x x x After years of sitting back and obeying his rule, Ambrosia Chamberlain has decided to return to her blood and take back her rightful place; the throne. Coming out of the shadows, she makes her survival known before setting off in search of the Circle of Thorns.
