"Good one, you look like you'd have a secure career in rugby, tiny." A voice said from behind me. Caught by surprise, I slipped again, landing once again, ungraciously on the floor. This could bruise. "Thanks for the vote of confidence," I replied, snarkily. "Do you care to try?" I wished I could swallow my words. Hell, I regretted having a tongue altogether, as the tall, smirking figure of Brandon Mars strode towards me. He pushed on the door, without removing his eyes off of me. He only did so, when the door, once again, did not move. I looked through the glass rectangle on the door into the empty parking lot. Empty except for one posh black car that screamed wealth, I could only assume was his. "What the fuck?" He mumbled confused, shaking the handle a little. "Some career you'd have in any job requiring brain activity." I mumbled under my breath. He stopped shaking the door, uselessly, to turn to me. "Excuse me?" He snapped, clearly vexed. I remained silent, unable to find my tongue when I actually needed it. "Sorry," I mumbled, my gaze falling to the ground, as my cheeks flared with colour. "What do we do now?" "What can we do?" He exclaimed. His voice echoing through the empty hallways. "We're locked in school." ~ When polar characters find themselves locked in Clairefore Creak High School over a long weekend, they are forced to find a mutual understanding, despite their differences. On one hand, they could spend the pending 72 hours on different ends of the building, if not for Brandon's controlling nature. While on the other, they could easily compromise according to each one's comfort, if not for Olivia's uncanny need to help others, and Brandon's habit of collapsing due to 'dehydration'. Research claims that it only takes one and a half hours to fall in love, 1.56667 to be exact. 72 hours is a long time for things to happen, wouldn't you think?
