Prologue

"please say something!" choking on tears that threaten to fall makes their way rolling down my cheek,
"Leave -"
" I won't", pausing as I gather my courage " I won't leave you. This is not what you want neither do I and you know it too well."
as the eyes I'm was trying to look for a while stares right back at me at that very moment,
" Why now? " for the first time I saw something that I never saw in those deep hazel eyes.
Helplessness.
I didn't want that. His eyes were showing something I don't want to see or hear. The hopefulness I had started to evaporate into thin air.
He really is giving up.
On me, on us.
I felt my heart stopping.
