Courter is a survivor of Earth's first inter-species war, and all he knows is that he needs to find his sister. It seems as though the universe is dead set on placing obstacles in his path, however, such as the alien soldier he picked up off the street.

Juno has never been taught any way of life besides that of a killer, a weapon in the hands of powerful individuals. Her role has always been simple and straightforward: kill all targeted life forms. She was doing a fine job at that, too, until a human got in her way and flipped things around. Now she's not sure what's right anymore.
