Prelude

Scotland is under English rule, and the English are taking full advantage. When William and his brother escaped the violence of the English to live in the highlands with their uncle, they didn't expect to be separated. But soon William is running for his life, knowing that if he is caught he will be executed on the spot. But before he can reach the safety of Ireland, his fate rests in the hands of a mysterious English girl who must choose between her heart and her loyalty to her country. Which will she choose?
