Miles Cordain has seen better days. After his failed attempt at a medical clinic for the less fortunate magical races. Between his job as a bike courier and his portable quick care clinic, Miles can barely scrape enough money together to make ends meet.

When a half-fairy goes missing, and his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend's corpse decides to get up and leave the murder scene, Miles has more business than he can handle, and it's attracting all the wrong attention.
