Two respected kingdoms involved with close trade meet for week long meetings throughout the year. This gave young Ciel Phantomhive a chance to watch Alois use his gift of ice and snow. However, when a deadly accident harms Ciel, he is forced to forget the event, Alois' powers and stay away from the Trancy Kingdom until Alois' coronation.
