Thomas Fitzgerald, a British fighter pilot on leave, can't seem to find anything appealing about America. Every day it's the same. The same drunken soldiers in the bars. The same song on the radio.

But one thing is different. The little flower shop down the street, run by an eccentric florist. Everything about that place draws Tommy in. The scent, the music, just the atmosphere in itself is captivating.

"Dearest, You Said", is a tale of the blossoming bond between a pilot and a florist trying desperately to escape their reality, only to have reality come crashing down like a god-like force.
