Description
Thomas Brown had never been seen as much of anything; until, one day, he was. His grandparent's lived in a very tiny town where everyone knew everyone's business along with every other detail to go with them, and as Thomas was growing up, he had spent as much time there as in his own home. Often times these people knew things about other people before that person even knew it about themselves, except for this one, rare thing. For this one thing was something that Thomas hadn't noticed either; it was what made him extraordinary. Everything that he had thought to be just a myth had suddenly become true, and to make matters worse, he quickly discovered that he was a part of it. This magic that lived inside of him, and secrets that went along with it, had been in his family for generations, and it had never been a problem before. At least, before Thomas came around. It wasn't until he was thrust into the magical world that he began to notice the changes within him, and the result was something that could be either heroic or catastrophic. You see, what he'd thought was simply the town's creepy castle on a hill, turned out to be so much more; it turned out to be Maddox Academy: Institute of Magical Arts and Alchemy.
