Chapter 1: Awakening

Ari and 13 other students (more or less) are called to a private academy called Despair's Cure. Much like its sister school, Hope's Peak, it promises a better future for their students of exceptional talent and troubled behavior. Ari must meet the new students, and soon realizes that she was not called to this school for the same purpose as she once thought.
