This is the story of Ireti, a Yoruba goddess in human form who marries an Igbo man for his wealth and position in the society. Little did she know that even her beauty could not save her marriage. Beaten, bruised, and left for dead her maid finds a way to get her help from the support of other ladies nearby. Together they relive their past and face the unexpected future.
