Prologue

Hi, my name is Amara Williams and I'm the daughter of and future Cupid.
My whole life has been pretty steady. It's like any other teen girl's life would be if they were training to be the next Cupid in a world where people possessed such powers. I had my whole life planned out. I was supposed to marry Dylan, the son of Peace and future Peace, go to college for Art, and be the best Cupid I possibly could. It was all going to be perfect. I was going to make my Mom, Dad, and three brothers proud.
All of this seemed possible.
But that was before I met him.
And before I left for Rome.
I had no idea how much my life could change in just one week. But I guess anything is possible, right?
