Riley never imagined that she would leave the only home she ever knew. But after her older sister August left her mom and her unexpectedly, Riley's mom decides to pack up and leave the state. Riley never thought she'd be the "new girl" in school, but with the way things are going in her life, anything's possible.

Inspired by two things:
The song "You're Somebody Else" by Flora Cash and the book/movie "The Perks of being a Wallflower"
