Chapter one: Moving on

Lindy needs to start over. She needs to leave and move on, but moving away from her problems doesn't make them go away; they always have a way of finding her, and hurting her even more. No matter what or who they hurt to get to her.

But Jacob has his own problems; and maybe instead of helping each other heal, they may just be thing that's going to break them, even if they seem strong.
