Chapter 1: New Assignment

"Oh yes! Let's have our soldiers jump from moving plans! What a wonderful idea! Hey, while we're at it, why don't we bring women into the infantry!" the vice president exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air. The idea of parachute infantry did not sit well with him.

"What a wonderful idea, Mr. Vice President. I know just the girl to ask!" Roosevelt laughed. Both of the ideas sat very well with him.
