It's 1875 there are plantations salves and everything else in between. Rose Mary is a slave. Her family was captured and forced into slavery. She is light complected so many people thinks she's white but she always stays true to her family no matter what. Jeremy Woods is a 21 year old white boy. His family owns one of the biggest plantations is the south. He is destined to take over his family job. The thing is he doesn't want to. Jeremy thinks this job is cruel and wrong.
