Rien's mother suffers from Munchhausen. Set in 2039, her mother makes her get illegal body modification, under the pretense that they are for undiagnosed medical conditions. She meets somebody who tells her they can give her the life she needs, but she finds out too late her sanctuary, is actually slavery.
