Chapter 1

Marie, a 17-year-old orphan lives on the streets in the times of an absolute monarchy. After the tragic death of her brother, she has been living with 3 friends who all take care of each other. She doesn't realize it but this girl is about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Her whole world gets turned upside down by finding out things about herself she thought were impossible as well as experiencing major betrayal. She also has a love interest that she has conflicting feelings about and can't decide if she actually loves him or not.
