Prologue

They come in the night; silent, quick, unseen. They kill some, take others. Kingdom Gratsël becomes a place of nightmares. There is but one rule; an assassin never strikes twice.

Why then, have two bodies been buried with identical, bloody eagles etched on their foreheads?

Where do those they take go? They are never seen again, and the last anybody hears of them is a single tortured scream.
