Everyone has ghosts. Creatures that lurk around in the shadows all represent what is supposed to be behind you. Pieces of your past that are always there to haunt you.

Well, it's become clear that Jackson Greene has the entire underworld filled with ghosts of all kinds.

The people of his past have broken him down and drained him of his trust. But now he has a shot at a family. A foster home far away from those who have tortured him before. A man named Scotty who loves taking in kids just like him. And upon his arrival, everyone takes an instant interest in the boy with the white hair.

Jack, however, is convinced that this is a continuation of the cycle he has been through repeatedly for the last few years, and that he will he gone in just a matter of days.

But there's something about these fiery personalities that gives him a growing sense of security. Especially when he meets a boy who peeks his interest.
