Chantelle James another girl who lived on the northside, another girl who was like your average riverdale resident. But in many more ways then one she wasn't, she was known for being the northside girl who almost never smiled, and if you ever see her smile rarely you were lucky. As lucky as Jughead Jones who was the closest person she had has family. Chantelle's Family had never been the best, going bankrupt because her father had a gambling problem. Finally at 8 years old her mother took her and ran, they found themselves in the small town of Riverdale and thats where they started their new life, at 16 her mother passed away and FP Jones became her legal guardian. Checking up on her once in a while, but Chantelle knew that Jugheads life wasn't exactly the best either but they both didn't like to talk about it. Chantelle never knew love, never knew why love was a thing, she feared love in general, knowing that if she ever let people in, she was increasing the chance of getting left and it scared her to know that. But maybe can a certain Serpent boy really break that shell she's taken years to build? Her heart took her mother 9 months to build, only to let a boy break it in 9 seconds.
