Chapter 1: New Beginnings

"Did you really have to say that?" I asked. Zane rolled his eyes. "Well he wouldn't leave so I had to do what I had to do." he said. "You could've said something different. Now he'll never tell us what the Orb is!!" I screamed. Zane looked confused. "Why would he know what the Orb is? We don't even know or why it chose you." he said. I cried,"Because his dad knows all about it. He taught him everything he knows about it." There was a moment of silence before Zane said,"Ooooh. Well shit I didn't know." I rolled my eyes before walking in the water and took off swimming. I was going to figure out what this all means in order to save my future. And my life.
