Forgive me if this sounds ungrateful, but I do not see how carrying the earth's largest and heaviest shield, for a ten-foot monster, up and down a hill twice a day, for more than forty days, is the opportunity of a lifetime. But why should my opinion on it matter anyway? My opinion means nothing. I mean nothing. My life is pointless. Worthless. Useless. ~A short monologue telling the story of David and Goliath from the perspective of Goliath's shield barrer~ Quick Note: This monologue was something I wrote in an assignment for my Creative Writing class. My teacher complimented it, I enjoyed writing it, and so I figured it might be fun to post here!
