Chapter 1

When small city girl, Ryan Lopez, leaves her small town in North Carolina to move with her dad in Texas, things start to change. With her parents being divorced for a year, she learns to control her feelings, thanks to her new horse Lightening, and her new friends Hunter and Missy. This is the time when Ryan learns that she doesn't have to handle everything on her own. Will she come out of the Darkness into the Light? Or will she stay in the Dark?
