Chapter 1

Lacey has leukemia. Cody's brother is one of Lacey's hospital friends. One day, Cody hears quiet crying coming from one of the hospital rooms. He goes in to see a girl sobbing on her bed. He tries to comfort her. Little did he know that one nice gesture was going to bring him a load of heartache, heartbreak, and love.
