'You have to try, Xavier.'

How many times have I heard those words? I could hear it a thousand times more and it still wouldn't change how feel about the idea.

The last thing I need is a wife. The only thing she'd do is be in my way. What woman in their right mind would want to marry me? I maybe a prince but they all know that I am no Prince Charming.

She will leave crying within the year. They will see. I tried telling them that it was a waste of time but they didn't listen. My father took it as 'Xavier just being Xavier. He will see that this is good for him.' I couldn't say I agreed or could see the benefits in a marriage to a woman I didn't want or need.
