After Melinda rescues her nephew Bastian from the merciless Orc army, they set out to save her brother Warrick, unaware the part King Artorius will play in their lives. Another unknown is Ev, the daughter of the King's royal mage. Ev becomes Bastian's first love, but a forbidden one.
Broken hearted King Artorius feels numb inside from the loss of his wife and son the result of the betrayal of his former royal mage Gallion. Curiosity leads to unexpected but dangerous love when he meets Melinda; a love too easily exploited.
With each of them suffering from the loss of their family, they must decide between saving the people they love or saving the kingdom from Gallion and his Orc army.
