Nadine is positive that some force has been pitted against her for her entire life. From her work life to her social life, nothing has ever gone as it was supposed to.

One day, after her entire life is ruined, she discovers that she is a part of a secret world that is about to be erased from the surface of the earth. She has to trust the people who are suddenly in her life and figure out how to purge the world of the bad guys and bring balance to what is now her life.
