Description
During the peaceful period in Japanese History known as the "Edo" era (1600s to 1860s), the Daimyō of the Chōshū Domain, Ryuuichi Tanizaki is left with no male heir after his wife perishes during childbirth, leaving him with only a daughter: Tsubaki. As Tsubaki grows, he soon realises she lacks any pigment in her body. Hair white as freshly-spun silk, eyes pink like the beautiful camellia flower and skin so white, her hair almost blends into it. He does his best to be a noble leader to his people and to protect and cherish his daughter until a peculiar woman enters his life. After this encounter, his intentions and his actions twist and corrupt greatly and the deepest, darkest depths of his soul are unveiled. UPDATE 02/05/19: Spelling, grammar and tenses fixed.
