Prologue

Y/n Ketchum is the brother of Ash Ketchum, and a lab assistant to Prof.Elm over the summer. He' also incredibly lazy. But hey, he tries.
He's so lazy, that on his tenth birthday, the day children get their pokemon, he slept through it. The whole day. He ended up not receiving a pokemon and staying home, as his brother went on his adventure.
But now, a package comes from Prof.Elm, with his name on it. Opening it up, Y/n finds two things that will change his life forever. What is it? And what will Y/n do when his journey begins? What new friends will he meet?
