For the majority of her life, Elysia Lake has possessed an extraordinary ability that allows her to control any type of magic. While her world believes that this power is a myth that only brings hope during dark times, Elysia and only a few others know the truth in order to protect her and keep her ability a secret. Forced to flee her home and kingdom after a devastating attack, Elysia and her brother Sky seek refuge in a neighboring kingdom called Drelwath. During their stay, Elysia falls prey to multiple attacks caused by the same people who attacked her home - the Modahnians. During one attempt on her life, Elysia is thrown into a comatose state, where she meets the past Divine Wielder and finds out the truth about some of the people who know of her power. Under unfortunate circumstances, along with years of being lied and deceived by the ones she trusted most, her power starts to leave her. Feeling betrayed, Elysia makes the tough decision to reveal herself and go behind her Kings' back in hope to restore her abilities. With a war on the rise and her life on the line, Elysia partners up with Thoron Lowe and his bandwagon of friends to seek out the Black Knights. Traversing across the world and into enemy territory in order to get more answers. It seems as if fate is testing the groups limits, pushing them to their last string to see if they are worthy. In the end, will fate allow them to pass and give them the key to solving Elysia's problems?
