Description
Forty-one year old Kasumi has never been interested in love and due to nasty rumors surrounding her as a teen and early twenties, she became known as a taboo beauty. Kasumi joined a well known company at age twenty-five and was very close to become the second female to join the high ranks. Unfortunately a young man by the name of Jiraya becomes the youngest person to not only join the company but also coming close to beating Kasumi for the position. Jiraya just turned twenty-five and has already made a name for himself by not following in his rich parents footsteps. From finishing school early and already holding numerous degrees, Jiraya has his eyes on accomplishing everything in sight before thirty years old. Kasumi and her "super squad" of unique coworkers/friends don't like Jiraya and aim to take him down. Kasumi and Jiraya don't see eye to eye and it's even difficult imagining them together. Kasumi tells Jiraya why love is stupid and only gets in the way, taking care of yourself should always come first. As time goes on, Kasumi decides that maybe there is more to life than being like her parents and Jiraya makes her realize that being driven by money can turn you into a person that only society will value but nobody else will.
