Prologue

"We're in our twenties, we're all depressed and all we do is hang around this lousy place." Said James before taking a drag of his cigarette.
"Oi!" interjected Dom, clearly offended by James' description of his mother's much treasured back yard.
"What do you propose we should do then?" asked Charlie trying to soothe Dom by running her fingers through his dyed blonde hair.
Mia abruptly sat up from her lying position on the damp grass, her eyes shining with mischief.
"Let's go on a road trip!"
