Description
Selene is a college freshman who lives in Portland. She's always been smart. Always. Until, she meets a successful, charming, and humorous man at a local bar. As she quickly learns he's responsible for destroying her life as she knew it to be, Selene realizes she may be in too deep. Will she ever escape his possessive hold on her? ~ He was the type of guy you dreamed of meeting at a greasy, dimly-lit bar on a Thursday night. He'd be the one to order a glass of Casa Noble Crystal tequila on the rocks and sip it once every minute. He was wearing, of course, a denim jean jacket and an urban-looking pair of black pants and a grey shirt. He looked about 23 maybe 26, almost caramel skin and dark, neat hair. I realized I had been staring a little bit too long when he raised his drink from the table to about nose height in a "cheers" motion, which I reciprocated, caught off-guard. He smiled and we both took a sip. I looked down once again, embarrassed. He sat down across from me in the booth. I looked up in a bit of shock, not expecting him to approach me. I slowly took my AirPods out. "Hello, beautiful."
