Prologue

For centuries past and for centuries to come, two fated lovers will forever be cursed to yearn for a person who does not exist in their world. An affliction of time, a cruel game played by the powers that be would ensure, no matter how many times the two were reborn, that neither would ever exist in the same era of time--only visions were allowed to torment their minds.

A Victorian duke soon to wed and an aspiring artist with a past of troubled relationships grow closer and closer as the turmoil in their lives begin to peak; the question is, will they finally be the ones to break the spell?
