Kaylee Nelson always wanted to be popular, but she wasn't. She was overweight, shy, and ugly. At least that's what she thought.

When Kaylee returns to school after being homeschooled for a year, she's a different person. Her entire appearance has changed, which has finally brought her newfound popularity. But she also got something she never thought she would have: love.

When Kaylee meets Jack, she immediately feels a connection. She knows that she wants to spend more time with him, but her new friends don't approve of her with the nerd boy. So she has to make a choice: get what she always wanted and be the popular girl or get love, something she didn't know was possible.
