Just under fifteen years ago, when he was only thirteen years old, Joe Sugg took a big step in life. His best friend, Jess, was moving away to Scotland. Their bond was so tight and the night before Jess left for Scotland, they got caught in the moment and slept together. Now, you may think, that's not a big thing is it? Well, think again! Because nine months later, Ruby came along. At fourteen years old, Ruby loses her mum to being killed off in a drug raid at work. With no other family around, Ruby is taken to visit her dad, who takes her in rather than her being adopted by strangers. But that's quite ironic isn't it? Seeing as Joe is a stranger to Rose.
