In an orderly, average little town where not many big things are known to happen, good friends Sam and Sonny are both completely captivated with the town's latest arrival; mysterious wanderer Misty, who's much more mature then her (maybe) seventeen years suggest. She speaks to no one and especially avoids them like the plague, no one knows a thing about her.

Then in an accidental turn of events, the entire town's safety is threatened by a Goosebumps Halloween apocalypse and Misty joins the two boys, and Sonny's sister Sarah, in a fight to reclaim their home. Not only that, but she's also got a score to settle with a certain dummy...
