Fairies are real. They're real, powerful, and have been around since dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Inheriting their heavenly powers from mystical gemstones passed down through generations, the power they hold is volatile even in the best of hands. To ensure the secrecy of the fairy world and the safety of the world itself, an elitist group known as the Diamond Monarchy has taken control, ruling with an iron fist and a "No Mercy" policy. For some foolish reason, the fate of all fairies deemed offensive by the Monarchists rests on the wings of a nineteen-year-old Health major from Monterey. Xander is nowhere close to being ready, in fact, he's a horrific fairy, but perhaps with the help of Marina, an invisible individual that's been linked to Xander's stone for nearly three hundred years, he might be able to channel some sort of magical prowess worthy of going up against the Monarchists.
