Rain is all Gabriella could hear. She was freezing. A couple minutes ago, her parents threw her out. In the freezing rain. The small girl wandered down the empty village streets, trying to find a place to take shelter.

Gabby encounters witches on her journey and much more. Will she ever go home to her parents? Or is she destined to be a witch?
