India Westly wasn't the type to fall for guys. It's not that she didn't think guys were attractive or anything, in fact, she thought many guys at Dulaney High were attractive. India had her heart broken once, in seventh grade, by a boy named Alex Gaskarth. Alex also happened to be one of her best friends, so it hurt even more. After that, she swore never to jeopordize a friendship like that ever again, so she decided she wouldn't love anyone until she knew the time was right. But it's freshman year, and her feelings for Alex are coming back, and this time her head can't push them away.
