Princess Peach has been captured once more and it's up to the Mario Gang to jump up to the challenge, travel through the kingdoms and levels/land to retrieve back the princess. Along the way, fight new monsters/minions and bosses, create friendships or rivalries with old and new characters, discover new power-ups and items to use in their journey, and face the threat of limited lives as they battle against their greatest and most powerful foes.
