When Jazzlen is coerced to go to the desert with her best friend, Hazel, older brother, Kendall, and his best friend, Brad, she thinks nothing of it. They're going to have fun-without wifi. They're going to have a blast-without cellular signal.

That is until their RV breaks down in the middle of nowhere and the only way to survive is to start walking back the way they came with little sustenance.

As she gets closer to Brad on their return trip she starts to realize that life isn't just shoes, nail polish, and Justin Bieber's new fragrances.

Life shouldn't be wasted, it should be cherished.
