Imagine this:

It's your sixteenth birthday, and a government official comes knocking at your door.

What does he want?

For you to join him and his fellow soldiers to fight the war for STELLA, of course.

All of the worlds have fallen to an evil group that calls themselves "the Darkness" (original, right?), and in The World That Never Was, a certain billionaire has taken it upon himself to create an elite team of soldiers and medics from all the different worlds to fight against it. From the time the darkness invaded and on, someone's sixteenth birthday was no longer a celebratory event.

It was a mournful one.
