Alexis is a 17 year old senior in high school. Her mother isn't in her life and her father abused her. Only thing that's good so far is her best friend Jayla, that is until she meets Chamari.

Chamari is also a 17 year old who just transferred to Ferndale High School. She lives with her mom and her older brother is in college. Her girlfriend is Nyla and so far their relationship is great, until she meets Alexis.
