When your a vampire prince whose been on the run for 3 years and hunted down by the place your running from. A lot can happen. So when hiccup haddock gets caught and taken back to the place he most hates, it's not a very warm home welcoming. Especially with a pissed off dad, and unhappy headmaster and an ax wielding warrior who hates your guts. What else is new? Especially since and old enemy from your past comes after you again.
