Chapter 1 - The Simple Life

Elixa, your average Jane living in a small town, is about to her her life turned around by a mysterious man. Zephyr, friend of a friend, has returned to the town after a long absence and is an enigma to Elixa who is usually good at reading people. She soon finds out that he his two sides to himself, his quiet and content side that lives along side his confident and very powerful side.

With all of her training in martial arts and her ability to contain her emotions, how does this man surpass her on all levels, and what is he hiding from the rest of the world, yet willing to show to her. The man's mystery brings darkness, and it is the darkness that soon entices Elixa.
