- Kilo Reid is a former detective. She's accused of killing her own partner, and sentenced to life in prison. She's only got one chance. If she finds a certain criminal based on their description in the same prison she's being sent to, she'll be released. But if she fails to discover them, she'll be left to rot in prison.
