Reapings and Goodbyes

There are three types of truces made in the Hunger Games - the temporary ones, i.e. where you use your companions strengths to your own advantage until you can slit their throat in their sleep.

The ones where you actually manage to strike a friendship with your fellow tribute, so that the moment when they stab you in the back comes as a heart-wrenching shock.

And, of course, my type of truce - The one where after a foolish choice of words, you become stuck to the most dangerous competitor in the games, knowing that one wrong move will have your neck snapped, and all you can do is hit yourself over your stupidity.
