Alec Williams is one of the rising swimmers predicted to represent his country at the next olympics, that is, beside Elijah Thorpe.

Elijah and Alec have a burning hate for each other as they continuously try and outdo each other at competitions leading up to the Olympic trials. Yet, tensions always run high as the ex-friends struggle through more hardships than just the next race leaving both to wonder if a gold medal is worth it.
